The purpose of the Galleon is the same
A galleon from the side, demonstrating it's height next to a large hill (which can be jumped onto from the boat.)
as that of other ships. Unlike other ships, the Galleon holds a preset amount of five people, driver included. It also includes a vast amount of space both on and below deck for extra seating or storage. It is significantly taller than other ships and is often used during attacks (as attackers can use the extra height to scale walls.)
